The community awards celebrate outstanding contributions to student success through data. Since 2017, these awards have highlighted individuals and organizations pushing for better education with connected data. Past winners are community leaders with innovative ideas that demonstrate real impacts.
This year, each winner earns a $5,000 donation to a U.S. public charity of their choice.

The Ed-Fi Alliance Governance Advisory Team will review nominees, and winners will be announced at the Ed-Fi Alliance Summit 2025.
Categories:
- Ambassador of the Year: For consistent support and advocacy of the community’s mission and data interoperability.
- Rookie of the Year: For new members showing strong commitment to data integration within two years.
- Innovator/Innovation of the Year: For individuals or teams solving big education challenges using the Ed-Fi Data Standard and technology suite.
- Community Service Award: For community members improving student outcomes and making significant community contributions.
