Michelle Farell joined the Ed-Fi team in the summer of 2022, where she focuses on Ed-Fi’s work with collaboratives as the Client Relationships Manager. Michelle has professional experience at the school, district, and university levels. She has worked across the public and private sectors, focusing on streamlining operations and enhancing data solutions for educational institutions. Prior to her work with the Ed-Fi Alliance, Michelle worked as a consultant for Public Consulting Group, implementing districts in special education software and supporting them in the education arena. She has also served in various capacities within the St. Louis Public Schools District, operating as a data analyst who managed the district’s 17 high schools’ assessment needs, as a math interventionist, and as an elementary school teacher.

Michelle earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Wheaton College before continuing on to pursue a Doctorate from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Focusing on generative design, Michelle is passionate about finding creative solutions to complex problems.
