On behalf of the entire Ed-Fi team we are thrilled to welcome our Community back for the Ed-Fi Summit, November 15-18 in Austin, Texas!

The Ed-Fi Summit has become the must-attend event and user conference for education agencies and ed-tech providers that are both just starting their Ed-Fi journey and continuing to learn what interoperability and data can do to solve big challenges for students.

As always, this three-day conference is led by the Ed-Fi Community and will feature success stories, technical demonstrations, peer-to-peer learning and opportunities to foster and strengthen the growth of the Ed-Fi Technology Suite. We know that the very best sessions and content come directly from the field.

This is where you come in.

We are encouraging our Community to answer the Call for Papers and submit your best ideas for sessions that you’d like to present and lead. Based on past Summit survey data, our Community loves sessions that:

  • clearly communicate a new idea or approach,
  • highlight a success that can be replicated in other education agencies,
  • help others to understand and identify roadblocks,
  • show how another organization approached problem solving,
  • uncover a new insight into getting Ed-Fi adopted and accepted,
  • demonstrate a technical fix or new solution,
  • examine what works and what doesn’t.

These are just a few ideas to get you thinking about what you can submit. Its all about sharing best practices and learning as a Community, whether you are brand new to Ed-Fi or have been to every Summit ever held, there is a place for you to lead at the Ed-Fi Summit!

We are accepting session submissions in five categories; Learn, Collaborate, Transform, Implement, and Improve. Additionally, we will be asking presenters to tag their presentation by audience type, difficulty level, format and presenter type.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, August 13.
  • Acceptance decisions will be made the week of August 23rd.
  • A draft agenda will be posted the first week of September.
  • While the 2021 Summit will have a virtual component, all presenters if selected will need to present live at the in-person event.
Simply fill out the form below and hit submit.
