Ed-Fi Alliance Partner Program Terms and Conditions

Partnership Eligibility:

  1. To be eligible for the Partner Program, a Partner must demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and adherence to the Ed-Fi data standard.
  2. Currently the Partner Program includes three levels: Supporter, Partner, and Premier.
  3. Eligibility criteria for each level are provided as guidelines and may evolve. At their sole discretion, Ed-Fi Alliance will recognize the commitments of Partners at any of the three levels: Supporter, Partner, Premier Partner.
  4. Ed-Fi Alliance reserves the right to refuse or terminate partnership status, or otherwise modify this program or its terms, at its discretion.
  5. Partnership recognition is granted annually, and each year’s partners are typically announced at the Ed-Fi Summit.
  6. Partners are expected to report quarterly to the Ed-Fi Alliance on adoption of their solution or service using the Ed-Fi data standard.

Partner Benefits:

  1. Partners may receive benefits such as access to Ed-Fi technology, resources, and collaborative opportunities.
  2. Benefits are subject to change, and Ed-Fi Alliance reserves the right to modify or terminate them at any time.

Collaborative Efforts:

  1. Partners agree to actively collaborate with Ed-Fi Alliance to promote interoperability and open data standards.
  2. Partners may be required to participate in joint projects, events, or initiatives to maintain active partnership status.

Confidentiality:

  1. Partners may have access to confidential information during the course of participation in the partner program and agree to complete a non-disclosure agreement.

Use of the Ed-Fi Alliance Brand:

  1. Partners may use their certification and badge logo in accordance with the provided guidelines. Partners may not use the Ed-Fi Alliance logo without permission.
  2. Ed-Fi Alliance reserves the right to review and approve any public statements or communications related to the partnership.
  3. All participants of the Ed-Fi Alliance partner program agree not to use the Ed-Fi Alliance logo(s), register website domains, or name their organization, business, or offerings in any way that violates or infringes upon our trademarks. Always request approval for press releases and paid ads that refer to or mention the Ed-Fi Alliance.

Compliance with Standards:

  1. Partners agree to maintain a current badge or certification and follow best practices for interoperability.
  2. Non-compliance may result in termination of partnership status.

Communication and Marketing:

  1. Partners give the Ed-Fi Alliance permission to use the partner’s logo.
  2. Partners may be featured in Ed-Fi Alliance marketing materials and communications.
