We are now accepting applications for the 2020-21 Ed-Fi Technical Advisory Group. The Technical Advisory Group (“TAG” for short) is a diverse group of organizations that meets regularly to provide technical feedback on proposals that originate through the Ed-Fi governance process—including workgroups and special interest groups. The TAG also provides regular feedback on the Ed-Fi Technology Roadmap to help steer our ship in a direction that serves the entire sector.

Ed-Fi Governance Structure

The Ed-Fi TAG in the Ed-Fi Governance Structure – the TAG provides guidance and feedback on outputs from our workgroups and special interest groups.

Participating organizations have deep experience in the field of data management in K-12 and adjacent areas and rely on the Ed-Fi Data Standard and technology tools in their operations. Therefore, they are in an excellent position to inform key decisions related to Ed-Fi standards and technology.

Participating 2019-20 TAG members have included Jeffco Public Schools, INSITE at Indiana University, Pittsburgh Public Schools, San Diego County Office of Education, Wisconsin DPI, Student 1, Certica Solutions, InnovateEDU, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Education Analytics, Skyward Inc., Arizona Department of Education, and Infinite Campus. We can’t thank these groups, and their representatives, enough for their service and contributions over the last year.

If Your Organization is Interested in Joining Ed-Fi’s Community Leadership, We Encourage You to Apply.
